The MNS low voltage withdrawable switchgear is suitable for AC 50(60)Hz power supply systems with a rated insulation voltage and operating voltage of 380(400)V or 660(690)V, and a rated current of up to 5000A for three-phase (four) five-wire systems. It can be used in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, buildings, hotels, airports, docks, and broadcasting and television communication centers. It serves for power generation, power transmission and distribution, electrical energy conversion, and control of power consumption equipment. Additionally, reactive power compensation for the main busbar can be achieved through capacitor compensation cabinets.

 

Structural Features

Frame Structure: The MNS low voltage switchgear frame is a modular structure, with the basic framework assembled from C-shaped steel sections. All structural parts of the cabinet frame are galvanized and are securely connected into the basic frame using self-tapping locking screws or hex bolts. The complete switchgear is assembled with components such as doors, partitions, mounting brackets, and busbar functional units, corresponding to the scheme variations.

Cabinet Compartments: Each cabinet of the MNS low voltage switchgear is divided into three compartments: the horizontal busbar compartment (at the rear of the cabinet), the drawer compartment (at the front of the cabinet), and the cable compartment (at the bottom or the front right side of the cabinet). The compartments are separated by steel plates or high-strength flame-retardant plastic functional boards. Ventilated metal plates separate the upper and lower drawers to effectively prevent accidents caused by arcing from switch elements due to faults or short circuits between the busbar and other circuits.

Flexible Cable Entry and Exit: The structural design of the MNS low voltage switchgear can meet various cable entry and exit requirements: top entry and top exit, top entry and bottom exit, bottom entry and top exit, and bottom entry and bottom exit.

Versatile and Flexible Assembly: The structural parts are highly versatile and flexible for assembly, using a modulus of E=25mm. The structure and withdrawable units can be combined arbitrarily to meet system design requirements.

Busbar Protection: The busbar is protected by high-strength flame-retardant and high insulation strength plastic functional boards, which provide fault arc resistance, ensuring safe and reliable operation and maintenance.

Interlocking Mechanism: The mechanical interlocking mechanisms of various drawer sizes comply with standard regulations, with clear positions for connection, testing, and separation, ensuring safety and reliability.

Standard Module Design: The standard module design can be used to form protection, operation, conversion, control, regulation, measurement, indication, and other standard units, which can be assembled as required.
