Product Description

SF6 gas insulated ring main unit (RMU) is an SF6 gas-insulated ring main switch unit used in medium voltage distribution networks. In the same stainless steel welded SF6 insulated sealed gas compartment, the QLG series can accommodate up to 7 modules, providing various fixed combination methods for distribution networks, suitable for most applications requiring ring main units. Specific combination methods can be flexibly matched according to user requirements, for example: LF, LD, LLL, LLLD, LFFF, LFFFF, LLFFFF, DDLLLL, DDLLLLL (there are many combination methods, not listed here). Full modular configuration can also be achieved by using extension busbars between all modules. Different functional module combinations can form distribution solutions from simple to complex, meeting various configuration requirements in secondary substations and switching stations. Common functional modules include L, F, D, R, etc., while other modules can be customized according to the requirements of the single-line diagram. These functional modules can be installed on-site. Before shipment, routine tests are conducted on all modules. Installing these devices does not require any special tools.

Maintenance

All components within the SF6 Gas Insulated RMU are maintenance-free for the declared product lifecycle. The cabinet is made of stainless steel. If the panel is scratched or damaged, it must be repainted to prevent corrosion.

The switching mechanism of the equipment is located outside the gas tank, behind the front panel. This design allows for relatively easy operation and replacement if necessary.

The mechanical parts have been surface-treated for corrosion protection, and the moving parts are lubricated before leaving the factory to ensure they last for the product's lifecycle. In extreme environments (dust, sand, and pollution), inspection and maintenance are required, and in some cases, parts may need to be replaced. Please check if the lubricant has been washed or wiped off from the mechanical moving parts.
